CPJHSA CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
For December 1, 2006 thru September 30, 2007

The Association offers year-end awards for high score points won in each of the divisions recognized by the Association.   The qualifying show year is from December 1st to September 30th.  The age of an individual on December 1st of the current show year will be maintained throughout the entire competition year.  Only points from a member’s top 15 recognized CPJHSA horse shows will count.  It is the member's responsibility to keep track of their own points and verify their standings with the CPJHSA secretary by the end of the show year.  As a courtesy, CPJHSA posts point standings periodically on the association’s web site at www.cpjhsa.org.

CPJHSA members are entitled to earn points toward annual CPJHSA high score awards only after they have paid their dues and recorded their horses/ponies with the CPJHSA. Membership/recording forms are available on line, from the CPJHSA Secretary and have been furnished to all member horse shows.  Points will be awarded following the current US Equestrian Federation (USEF)  "C" rated point schedule.

All classes will be conducted and judged according to CPJHSA and/or USEF specifications or points will not count toward year-end awards.  As a CPJHSA member (either owner, trainer or exhibitor), it is your responsibility to review the prize lists of member shows and compare the specifications. It is also the responsibility of each member to understand the specifications and eligibility requirements for sections in which they intend on competing.  Riders/horses showing in any division for which they are ineligible WILL NOT receive CPJHSA points for any division at that show.   Show committees must attach correct class specifications to each judge's card.  No credit will be given in classes if less than three (3) entries have shown and placed.  In addition, classes with less than three (3) entries showing and placing will not be used to calculate Champion and Reserve.

In the absence of USEF specifications, the following CPJHSA specifications must be used in order for the classes to count toward year-end awards:
